Itinerary in brief:

Thursday Arrival in Athens - the birthplace of western civilization.

Report to your hotel Philippos located near the Acropolis and within walking distance to many major attractions, as well as the best shopping and dining.

In the afternoon at leisure to stroll around and explore individually the Old Athens- Plaka area .Overnight.

Friday Marina Zeas - Santorini In the morning at leisure to visit the Acropolis and the Parthenon -the truly one of the most perfect architecturally structures of the world.

Also enjoy a visit to the newly renovated National Archeological Museum, featuring antiquities from the glorious days of Ancient Greece. Transfer at 2:00 pm from the hotel to Marina Zea Yacht harbor in Piraeus.

Embark the large, traditional wooden yacht m/s H&B and sail off into the Greek world of sparkling blue waters for the 7-day Discovery Cruise. Sail to Santorini. Dinner and overnight.

Saturday Santorini - Ios Morning arrival at Santorini island. Sail for SANTORINI, one of the highlights of the cruise. Optional tour of the island, visiting the Akrotiri excavation and enjoy the spectacular view. Dinner. Afternoon departure for Ios island. Overnight in IOS. 

Sunday Ios - Paros Early morning sail for PAROS, one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades. This lovely island has succeeded in maintaining delicate balances between Greek traditional life and the demands of sophisticated modern visitors. Know since the antiquity for its translucent marble. Ancient sculptors used marble extracted from Paros for their best works, including “Venus of Milos” and “Hermes” by Praxitele.

A visit to the "Our Lady of 100 Gates" church is a must. Beautiful beaches, good restaurants and shopping. Arrive around 11.30. Visit. Overnight.

 

Monday Paros - Mykonos Sail from Paros to Mykonos the jet-set island with dazzling white houses, excellent shopping, entertainment and nightlife Optional excursion to DELOS, the sacred island of Apollo. This uninhabited island is one vast archaeological site and in ancient time was the cultural and religious center of the Aegean from 9 BC and for approximately a thousand years. Splendid remains of these glorious times can still be seen. Overnight. 

Tuesday Mykonos - Syros Morning arrival in Syros, Cyclade's capital island with the amazing architecture of the beautiful main town called Ermoupolis Overnight. 

Wedensday Syros - Kea Departure in the morning for Kea.Visit. Captain's dinner. Overnight.

Thursday Kea - Marina Zeas In the morning sail to CAPE SOUNION ( where god Poseidon's temple is located). Stop for a swim and later sail to Marina Zea, arriving in the afternoon. Optional evening trip to attend the famous Dora Stratou’s Folk Dancing performance at the Philopappus Hill, followed with a dinner at Piraeus Tourkolimano yacht harbor Overnight onboard.

Friday Athens After breakfast, disembarkation and transfer to Athens. End of cruise. Day at leisure. Overnight.

Saturday Athens - Corinth - Mycaene - Epidauros - Olympia After early breakfast, start the 4-Day Classical Tour to Delphi, Peloponnese & Meteora. Drive through Athens to CORINTH. Cross the Corinthian Canal. Drive to the famous theatre of EPIDAUROS (visit). MYCAENE, where we will visit the archaeological site and continue through central Peloponnese to OLYMPIA, the site of the ancient Olympic games. Dinner and overnight in Olympia.

Sunday Olympia - Delphi In the morning visit the archaeological sites and the museum of Olympia. Drive via Patras to Rion, Naupaktos and then on to DELPHI. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

Monday Delphi - Meteora In the morning visit the sites and museum of DELPHI. Depart for Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka

Tuesday Meteora - Athens In the morning visit the breathtaking METEORA monasteries and start to drive back to Athens. Arrive in Athens in about 6.00 pm. Overnight in Athens Wed. ATHENS After breakfast end of the tour.

CRUISE: * Cruising as per program with the yacht m/s H&B . Accommodation for 7 nights aboard in twin/double bedded cabins on main deck -all with lower beds-. All cabins with private facilities with A/C and windows. Breakfast (7) and lunches (7) plus a Captains Dinner with dance. During meals free drinks (local wine/ouzo, beer, refreshments). English-speaking cruise director services. Transfer to/from embarkation port. (Excluded: meals not mentioned, extra beverages/drinks, tip to crew and optional shore excursions) 4-Day Classical Tour : Tour as per program by comfortable private motor coach, 3 nights accommodation at the 1st class AMALIA Hotels (or similar), in twin bedded rooms with private facilities, breakfast-buffet, dinners (3), all admissions fees to the sites/museum and the service of an English-speaking licensed archaeological guide/lecturer. Athens Stay: Three nights stay at the superior B-class Hotel PHILIPPOS (or similar), located near the Acropolis, in twin bedded rooms. All with private facilities and A/C. Breakfast-buffet included.

Supplement for the A-class Hotel HERODION is $ 30 per person and night. Remarks: In case the wind power reaches 7 on the Beaufort scale, the yacht is not permitted to sail by the Coast Guard, for safety reasons. Omitting port (s)-of-call will not entitle the passenger for any claims or refunds. Additional day in Athens upon request.
